Pick a Posy

I mentioned how much I want the new Cricut cartridge "Artbooking" in my previous post; however, that is not the only item in the new Idea Book that I'm loving.

As with every new Idea Book, there are many new paper packs and this time I love all of them although my favorite is Laughing Lola.

I think the new stamp sets are also very cute especially the ones that are only available as hostess rewards and those that are from  Jeanette Lynton's archive and are being reintroduced.

That being said, I had to make a card using my favorite paper pack, Laughing Lola and one of the stamp sets I love B1426 Pick a Posy.

The sentiment is a retired CTMH set called Because of You.

The New CTMH Idea Book is Coming

 

The new Close to My Heart Idea Book is less than two weeks away and I am so excited.  There are many new items in this book that I can't wait to get.  First and foremost is the new Cricut cartridge called " Artbooking". As with the other two CTMH cartridges, there are over 700 images included with this cartridge.  "Artbooking" has many overlays for scrapbook pages and cards, as well as phrases, cute shapes and a new alphabet.   Below is a small sample of what I mean -

Working on My Blog

I have been working on my blog today.  Although I am not unfamiliar with computers and software, blogging is a still a mystery to me and way out of my comfort zone.  It has given me more gray hair than I care to admit; so I owe a "BIG THANKS" to Sarita for walking me through some of the biggest roadblocks that had me at a standstill.

It will continue to be a work in progress, so come back often to view the changes.

A week and a half ago, I was told that my job had been eliminated.  Because of this, I find I have a lot more time on my hands.  I have been feeling a little nostagic too.  This feeling has spilled over into my crafting and I find myself digging through older Close to My Heart stamp sets.  I made these cards using some "oldies but goodies".

Been Away Too Long

So you may have noticed I'm more than a little behind on my posts.  I agree, I have been away too long.  I do have one good reason and some not so great excuses but all that doesn't matter.   

Anyways, I'm back now.  I won't guarantee I write every day or even every week, but I will continue to write at least once a month.

In the time I have been gone, there have been many changes with CTMH.  We now have two Cricut cartridges.  You need to check it out as to what these can cut and all the 3D products you can create. 

We have added fabric to our accessory offering. 

Below is also one of our newer products.  I love this display tray.  I made this with the new paper pack Buzz and Bumble, my favorite pack in the new Idea Book
